Special emphasis
JCAP places a special emphasis on ICMR Short-Term Studentship (ICMR-STS) research carried out by MBBS students under faculty guidance. We offer a dedicated, citable platform for this undergraduate work, and warmly encourage faculty to submit such projects together with their students. Submissions name the faculty mentor as co-author and follow a structured (IMRaD) format — a supportive first step into scientific publishing.
Why submit to JCAP
Free to read worldwide; authors retain copyright under CC-BY 4.0.
Double-blind, COPE-guided, with a target first decision within 15 days.
Early authors are part of the journal's inaugural volume.
No charges of any kind — no submission, processing or publication fee.
ISSN to be applied for on publication of Volume 1, and DOAJ once the journal is eligible. The UGC-CARE list was discontinued in 2025; the University Grants Commission's suggestive parameters for peer-reviewed journals now apply, and JCAP is built to meet them.
How to submit
There is no fixed deadline. Manuscripts are welcome at any time and are considered for the next available issue once accepted through peer review. Submitting early means being considered for Volume 1.
Join the inaugural volume of JCAP. Submission is through the website only.
